Very disappointing

My daughter’s girl scout troop was suppose spend the day at Beaumont Ranch in Grandview, Texas.  But it did not go as planned.

The troop leader scheduled everything last month. They called her last week to tell her that they had only penciled her in. Even though she had given credit card information. Come to find out they were expecting “larger” groups the same day. So they was worked us in… sort to speak.

After 3 girls were mounted one of the horse went crazy. The handsome cowboy got everything calmed down. Somehow management got involved. (Some chick named Tracy) She came out barking. Telling the troop leader that this and that etc. I was pissed that she did not pull the troop leader to the side and did this right in front of a bunch of 2nd and 3rd graders.  WTF

I didn’t pay it any mind until she got mini me involved. She said that you had to be at least 6 to ride and pointed to my daughter (the smallest of the troop) like she was proving a point.  WTF  My daughter nicely blurted out that she was 8!

Needless to say…….. we rolled out.  How can mgmt act like that?  How long are they going to be able to stay in business with a business ethic like that?  I ended up with an upset girl scout crying because she did not get to ride a horse!  WTF  Not to mention she already have issues with her height…….. the lady made that come up also.

Now I am online looking for somewhere else we can go riding. This shall be interesting.
